Down for the Count

Down for the Count
Yeah, well, I'm getting kind of bored with this repeating pattern of me taking songs back from the radio and getting falsely accused of dirty things after, with only myself to say I'm innocent. So I'm obviously outnumbered by a large number of nasty pricks. Just because they all hang around each other doesn't make them the majority.

That last song I rewrote had me laughing, though. Wasn't Slings and Arrows what the radio played to you early last year, as if to say, 'forget that metal shit that he's doing and come listen to this'? They wanted their listeners to escape my music with my music and trick them into thinking it was Blue Rodeo. And Blue Rodeo was scheduled for a big concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre here in Vancouver in January 2017. Two sold out shows. I tried to tell everyone that Blue Rodeo stole my music too, but everyone just wanted to listen to my music and forget about me.

Their radio love has heaped nightmares on me, such as the one about being lost on the edge of town at night with people treating me as though I were invisible, etc, etc. I can't deal with Blue Rodeo and all the music they took right now. I have enough online as it is.

So fuck whatever they say, I'm just here to refresh my memory on how to use the '.length' property in JavaScript. I need to write a program to count my posts for me in my indexes below. I'm also getting that front tooth fixed that Bernard broke when I was eleven. You school mates of mine must recall that day you saw me running like hell for the sanctuary of the schoolyard when Bernard caught up with me. He was fifteen and I was ten, I think. I almost made it, eh? Fucking liars around here think they can say anything about me.

If any former band mates of mine see any of my old songs floating around on the web, can you flag them for me? People here keep forgetting I used to play my old songs like Free in Toronto in the '90's. Well, bye for now. I'll have a better smile for you the next time I see you on YouTube. I'm going to take some time to catch up my frameset at home.
