Who's on FilthTube?

I wish YouthTube had chosen a more accurate name, like FilthTube, before I learned about them. Too late now. So many songs defiled by their members in the last eleven years. Nothing left to do but rewrite them and drop dead from the effort.

Who wrote Redemption everyone? Me, right? Do I get to say I wrote it now that Blue Rodeo's done with it? Or do I have to wait behind the first person who steals it when I put it back in my account? Did I forget to include it with the other three songs I said they stole in my Copyright Issues list? Oh, fuck, well, I better get it in there right away for you.

No wonder I couldn't remember 2007. Every moment of it was a nightmare. Like posting Redemption and finding it on sunset videos and eclipse videos of YouTube members. My guess is that the sunset was Mike Myers and the lunar eclipse was Blue Rodeo. And how did the latest thief present it, besides as a crowbar to beat over my brain?

Looks like I'm going to have to share my newest effort. It's getting more and more familiar as I add more to it. Maybe you already know it better than I do. I'm thinking of calling it 'Slings and Arrows'. Ring any bells? Shakespeare wrote about 'the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune' as a force which prompts suicide in Hamlet (Grade 13 - senior matriculation). I've certainly received my share of them since I've been on FilthTube and the bands who hurled the most at me are the ones who ended up with the music I wrote about it, so they could steal all the love of my music fans to go with my songs and make those broadcasters happier than they've ever been in their lives.

And who wants to say, 'let's all whistle!' Why does she want to say that? And what insecure rock star needed to try to humiliate me with his women the last time I came here? Is it another one of these assholes who got the job in music before he knew how to do it? Sure are a lot of those assholes in the filthy, wormy, shitty, rotten music business. That's all right. Not every beautiful woman is into their peculiar style of sadism.

1:44pm: There, I've put a few new title in my Copyright Issues page. I'll wait to add the Saturday Night Live and Jay Leno violations. They might have some more growing to do first. Back to finish my song I already wrote. I hope my creative escapes into my recordings will one day not lead me to such unpleasant discoveries.
