Who Gets to Hate?
I need to discuss hate again unfortunately. I think I better start from the top. What is hate? It is an irrational, intense dislike. The key word is 'irrational' in this definition. When you have no reason for your dislike, it is irrational. For instance, it's hateful to dislike someone because of how they look. It's 'judging a book by the cover'. But when you hate something or someone that you'd normally love, such as an artist who pleased you, the hate is even more irrational, and completely destructive. Did I say destructive? Yes, that's another quality of hate. As such a creative soul, I consider haters to be my nemesis, and they have been proving to be just that. And do they say I hate? Am I irrational to bear a dislike for people who want to steal all my best things and tell the world lies about my dick so they can be superstars? How about when they're hate train never ends? How about that phrase I still can't quite decipher, even though I've already heard it ten times today? It indicates a new hate train, I think: nothing new for me, though. Can we put a stop to it before I get brain damage? How do news programs like Dateline present hate crimes? Who do they always point to as the haters? Isn't it always web stars? And that must make them the righteous heroes who oppose hate crimes, right? Well, I would call Ellen a hate crime. And I'd call Enola Jay a hate crime. And I'd call Mike Myers and Tina Fey hate crimes. And I'd call the Simpsons and Family Guy hate crimes. And that's just scratching surface of TV's hate crimes, which appear to greatly outweigh anything on the web. I'll tell you what concerns me when I hear a phrase getting repeated by a lot of different voices: not so much its content, but its indication of extreme conformity. So many different minds, happy to be thinking the same thing with the same phrase at the same time. I find it unspeakably depressing. I wish I could keep my ears uncluttered from such reminders. Or the phrase might be a popular putdown connecting me to yet another false accusation of an offence against a child. How long has it been since they stooped to that now? I think Blue Rodeo of January 2017 were the last - if I interpret the attitude of those schoolgirls towards me at the time. Does Blue Rodeo know how much the public hate a pervert who targets children? And Blondie Hateful likes diaper jokes, eh? What about Nickleback? What did they say about me? And then they said, 'let's party!' Fun stuff. When we first learned about this filth coming from the Crystalids in 2010, people were sympathetic. Now, they seem to not care when it happens. They're probably disappointed when it doesn't. Looks a hell of a lot like hate to me. And do they hate bachelors? Well, better keep me single then. 8:24pm: I might need a little time off tomorrow to make a cartoon out of the next Netherwork. I can't find a picture of that game show host with the dark glasses: the really corrupt looking one, do you know him? I don't know his name. I can't find him with my description. I guess I'll have to manage without him. |
